Alex Newman has spent much of his life looking beyond the headlines. An investigative journalist, international speaker, and founder of Liberty Sentinel Media, Alex grew up overseas, learned multiple languages, and developed a unique perspective on the forces shaping nations and cultures around the world.
In this episode, Alex shares how his experiences abroad helped him recognize both the strengths and vulnerabilities of America. While he rejects the notion that any reporter can be completely unbiased, he believes journalists have a responsibility to pursue facts, report fairly, and bring attention to important issues that much of the mainstream media overlooks.
Alex’s work has appeared in numerous publications, including The Epoch Times, The New American, and Law Enforcement Intelligence Brief. He is also the author of several books, including Woke & Weaponized and Deep State 2.0.
Our conversation explores the current state of the Republic, the importance of informed citizenship, and why preserving liberty requires more than simply voting every few years. Alex offers a challenge to listeners: seek God’s direction and find where He is calling you to support a cause, organization, leader, or effort that advances truth and strengthens the foundations of freedom.
If a republic depends on the participation of its citizens, what happens when too few are willing to carry the weight?
If you would like to support Alex and his work you can do that here.
Don’t miss out on your chance to hear Alex and meet him in person when he’s in Missouri June 30th for the “1776-2026: Then & Now” event in Cape Girardeau, MO!

I mentioned Act for Missouri as a great resource for educating yourself on candidates and amendments you’ll be voting on but also for understanding legislation and other things! Make sure to check them out and maybe consider supporting them!
